Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By using the Goldfish app ("Service"), provided by Globe Inc. ("we", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the service

Goldfish is a mobile application for trip planning that allows you to:

  • Create and manage travel itineraries with timelines
  • Track and share group expenses with automatic currency conversion
  • Upload and store travel documents
  • Manage checklists and to-do lists
  • Collaborate with other travelers in real time
  • Exchange group messages offline via Bluetooth Low Energy
  • Share real-time location with trip members

3. User account

To use Goldfish you need to create an account via Sign in with Apple, Google, or magic link email. You are responsible for the security of your account and all activities performed with it. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Free plan and Pro subscription

Goldfish offers a free plan with basic features and a paid Pro plan:

  • Free plan: up to 3 trips, basic features
  • Pro monthly: €4.99/month — unlimited trips, all features
  • Pro yearly: €34.99/year — unlimited trips, all features

Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store. Renewal is automatic unless cancelled at least 24 hours before expiration. Subscription management is done through the App Store settings.

5. User content

The content you upload to Goldfish (documents, photos, notes) remains your property. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display such content solely for the purpose of providing you with the Service. We do not use your content for other purposes.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for illegal activities
  • Upload offensive, defamatory content or content that violates third-party rights
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
  • Interfere with the operation of the Service
  • Use automated tools to access the Service without authorization

7. Service availability

We strive to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or force majeure. Goldfish also works offline — data is synced when connectivity is restored.

8. Limitation of liability

Goldfish is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for:

  • Data loss due to malfunctions beyond our control
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service
  • Content uploaded by other users in group trips

Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid by the user in the preceding 12 months.

9. Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the app Settings. Deletion is irreversible and results in the permanent removal of all your personal data, as described in the Privacy Policy. Group trips will be transferred to the most senior member.

10. Changes to terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms. Substantial changes will be communicated through the app with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use of the Service after the modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Italian law. For any dispute, the competent court shall be that of the consumer's place of residence, pursuant to the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005).
